Please explain how the fact that other life also has value can justify a mother taking the life of her unborn progeny? "Each person raised uses up space and resources. There is intense competition for that space and those resources and it is leading to the extinction of many lifeforms. There is no surer sign that a potential person is not wanted than if it's mother-to-be aborts. Forcing unwanted people into the world is an anti-life position." If I hadn't read it I would not have believed it! That is your position; Really? Maybe someone should scratch out the inscription on the Statue of Liberty and replace it with something more enlightened. It now reads; "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door." Perhaps it should read; Kill all the unwanted tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. and I will slip them into a gas chamber behind the golden door. As A Jewish person I would have thought you would be extremely sensitive to the notion that some people are of such little human value that they can be dehumanized to such an extent that they can be killed to make room for others of superior worth. You actually call that a pro-life position? I am truly shocked.
