Not a single rightwing leader has ever served in combat. Bush, DElay and Cheney all dodged the draft. Bush went AWOL and lied about it. Yet still they present themselves as military men, while running smear campaigns against real heros like mKerry, McCain and Cleland. BTW: Powell is a pro-choice globalist moderate who is against the neocons. Why do you think he left office? Same with Ridge who complained about the idiotic terrorist alert system which the White House used for political scare tactics. Ridge is blue state moderate Republican.
