Is NH part of the multi-state powerball group? If yes, can you buy me a ticket (and will you give it to me if I win ;-)? I wonder if anyone won the $200 million dollar jackpot I heard about the other day.

JLA, Indeed, you live in the best of all possible worlds. I had thought of moving to the Oregon-Washington State border because Oregon has no sales tax and Washington State has no income tax, but you have both of them beat. Unfortunately, where you live, it also snows. I don't think I would handle snow very well.

BTW, there is no lottery in Nevada. The casinos lobbied to keep the lottery out of Nevada. Of course, if the lottery is your thang, it is most convenient for one to live about 20 minutes from the California border. <g> - Holly

Why would any decent person or organization say anything positive or even neutral about the Bush administration?

In NH we have no state income tax, no sales tax AND no gambling (except the lottery)...

And still people insist on moving to Florida and Nevada and Arizona instead of to New Hampshire. Silly folks.
