Gee, maybe because the development of hybrid auto technology is recent enough and the concerns over oil depletion is so ignored and also hasn't hit enough people hard enough that the "world news" hasn't picked up on it yet. It wouldn't be the first time the vaunted "abilities" of the "world media" let something get past them...and it won't be the last. I wonder how it is that the story CAME FROM a friggin' media outlet and you're complaining that it's not in the media. As to technical journals/bulletins...have you read them all to know the data isn't in any of them?
