My concern would be for that young man, who no doubt believes what he has been told, and honestly believes he is doing something to help the US - so I see your point SiouxPal.

I would never put him, or anyone else in a headlock, but that is just me. LOL maybe I've not been in the same bars as some here lol.

I would be more likely to buy him a drink, or dinner, and talk with him - but that is me.

We must put the blame squarely on our leaders, who have lied. Many have died because of this. So sad.

I think this issue inflames passions on all sides. Our best course is to try to fix the blame squarely on Bush and Company, and work to get them out, or indicted, or both.

Then we can get our people home, and keep more innocents from being killed.

Remember when Bush told us that the problem was Saddam? But he is in custody. And his two evil sons (and they were evil) Dead now. But still we are there. We should leave their land, and come back to ours.

I took that post as an affront to Marines. They're just young kids who are easily led from the "man".
As long as clocks tick there will be immoral actions by some men.
I defend the uniform until one wearing it dishonors it. Being for Bush as a young man large does not constitute dishonor in my opinion.
Maybe it comes from my past and things like that.
I love all of your words.
