Actually not just adults but all stages of Human development. Again you gloss over the hard cases. Every time I shave many human cells, with full DNA, are carved off and washed down the sink. In the proper environment these could become independant people with their own thoughts and my good looks. Do you really want to try to save all of those potential people? The admittedly arbitrary point at which you are willing to grant person hood could just as easily be adjusted up or down It would not be nearly so easy to adjust. The cutting of the cord marks the time that what is now a baby has to exist on it's own. It is also an event that can't easily be faked and it is most likely irreversible. That combination of factors is not found in other events. There is plenty of room and plenty of food for all the people on this planet. Plants and animals go extinct every day. A large part of the reason is that humans are crowding out the rest of life on this planet. It's not enough that there be resources for people, to be pro life you must embrace life. TP TP
