I wish the ACLU would go to a Muslim country and start trying to remove the Koran or other Islamic symbols from public places.

I would like to see the ACLU try do the same thing here in America.

I read all the responses, personally I agree with you. I can see no reason whatsoever to remove a cross dedicated for some reason.

If you are under the impression that I was advocating for removing the cross, you're mistaken. I was merely trying to correct some misconceptions regarding the "public" vs. "government" and the removal as a compromise of anyone's practice of his religion.
