John, as far as I could read Elroy never said any of that so where did you get that from?


Its mostly implied:

"I don't think Iraq would become a second Aghanistan. Too much oil. I think if the US left in a month, Iraq would separate into a few countries. Probably Kurdistan, which would be a nice place, Shiastan, which would be pretty dodgy, and Sunniastan, where nobody would want to live.

Consequences of that split to the US - not much."
