You are not posting in a vacuum, I've read many of your other posts dismissing the insurgents and saying that the Iraqi's are almost ready to take over, that they should only take a few months to train.

I have said that ANY civil defense force should only take a few months of training, and that's why I'm upset that the coalition is still there after 2 years. I think the execution of the occupation has gone poorly due to poor planning. If GB is going to start the US's largest international undertaking of the past30 years, he could have spent another 12 months planning, if you ask me!

OK, what do you think would happen in Iraq if we left?

I'ev said I think it would split itself up into 3 countries, but I have no better idea than you. I cannot comprehend what drives a 20 year old to load up a car with explosives and drive it into a crowd of people and kill them all, including himself. But if Iraq deteriorates into civil war, I'd blame the Iraqi people, specifically the insurgents, for missing out on a golden opportunity. THEY have failed, not the coalition.
