Just think, if Bush had actually SERVED in Vietnam, he might have had a clue how Iraq would go. Instead, like Johnson, he listened to a bunch of guys who also didn't have a clue. Unlike Johnson, this man is too small to take responsibility for his mistakes.

Bush believed Vietnam was not a real defeat, but a failure of American's will and leadership. This leads him to repeat the hubris of the past, with predictable results.
