Fine. If you want to start in the beginning of Iraq's multi-year malaise, then I assume you would start with Saddam's taking power in 1979 or whenever it was, right?

However, if you think Iraq NOW is a mess, it makes perfect sense to me to assign the greatest blame for that mess to those that are causing the mess. That's the killers that are blowing up stuff. It's not the coalition, that wants things to stabilize to they can leave and go home.
