"False hope" - probably about the same level of odds as national lottery, where the odds of winning anything major is so close to zero that you have practically the same chance of winning if you DON'T buy a ticket :-) "Adrenaline rush" - Sure, and why not? Perhaps you don't understand the concept of what we call "hidden taxes" which from our POV are the same thing. Such as? And you are wrong anyway. If a country has the proper treaty with the US, a US citizen end up owing ZERO US taxes. Nope, YOU are wrong. US citizen ends up owing zero US taxes IF AND ONLY IF he pays taxes in his country of residence (which has a double taxation treaty with the US) that equal or surpass what he would be liable to pay in the US. In Monaco, there are no taxes for US citizens to pay, so any American resident of Monaco has to pay taxes in the US. Same for other tax havens. Ergo, US citizens, wherever they are in the world, pay taxes - either to the US or to their country of residence. I wonder Jacques Chiraq has to say. Like you have ever cared what he had to say about anything :-) You just told me you pay at least 19.6% in VAT That is not income tax, which I thought we were talking about. What is your "sales tax"? Holly says that is what you guys pay which is similar to VAT. And what is your income tax level? And my taxes are LOWER than they were under Slick. Your disgust for his sexual habits notwithstanding, I guess you can at least agree that your taxes went to cause that was more beneficial to you and your loved ones under Clinton. Or maybe you don't agree. It would be interesting to hear what you think of the budget deficit of your country at the moment. You just seem to prefer gov'ts that lie to you. LOL!
