What felt did, he either did out of conviction or for selfish reasons or more probably a little of both. By FBI standards, he obviously did a horrible thing and i think he stayed undercomver to avoid prison and because he was embarrassed. Now his liberal kids and/or money grubbing kids bring this dottering old man outside figuring the left in this country will throw a parade for him. I think old men should have their tongues removed after a certain age. Formerly proud folks turn into dottering old fools in the end. Very sad. The least the family could have done was to wait until after his passing to go public. mike PS Whenever folks ask me where i rank nixon its always dead in the middle. If there were 50 presidents i would say 25. He was too good a president up until watergate to ever be near the bottom and what he did was much too harmful for him to get into the top 10. I dont buy into the CW that i am hearing that from buchanan and stein and other nixonians that we would have somehow won the war in Vietnam or at least gotten a real tie as well as preventing the holocaust in cambodia. I dont know what this is based on because Ford largely carried out nixon fp as i remember it. Of course Fords hands were tied by congress but i suspect nixons might have been too. mike
