"An absolute value" can mean

1 - A value held to be true for everyone in every circumstance whether or not they recognize it to be true.

2 - A value considered more important than any other value or consideration, including tolerance and peace.

The 2nd might lead to war. The 1st is much less likely to do so.

The only absolute value I can think of offhand is the Golden Rule.

Is that really a value? Perhaps more accurately described as a creed for living your life?
