Not sure what kind of pricing trend they are projecting - I would think more likely a downward trend.
However DRAM pricing took a good beating in February and March 2005;
supposedly according to GS the price erosion during the two/three months was about what was expected for all of 2005.
Nevertheless the severe price erosion was transparent to global IC sales which means other segments must have been strong in order to compensate.

Keep an eye on the DXI (see link attached); it illustrates nicely what's going on and what was going on.
IMHO this is one of the useful information the internet provides besides all that Cramer et al garbage -
BTW I noticed that WSJ online often copies articles from Digitimes
