happy- I think that was the best photo essay of any of yer trips. It must have been so exciting to be able to explore places like that. Has it still been raining up north? thanks. it was a lot of work that i had to steal from sleep time but it was a sight i've never seen before and may never get to explore again after this year so i wanted to document it. i always heard the stories from the oldtime lake sailors but they didn't have pictures of trips up the river. the rain is still coming around somewhat but it's nothing compared to what you get (or wharfy, mannie and zita). the big spring runoff was the result of a much larger snowpack on the mountains than usual. it wasn't from the small rain storms we get. -ep
