Well, I think the success of the U.S. has been based on the concept that there is not such thing as racial purity. Israel is up to its ears in mess right now because they still want to have a racially pure Jewish state. That is apartheid in my opinion. So Europeans need to shed this notion that their country only belongs to pure breads. Every country should become a melting pot. That is what is long term healthy.

The people "brought" in (read= admitted when requesting asylum after getting there illegally) to Sweden in most cases have no skills or educational background at all but require welfare for them and their large families of kids and relatives to survive - in comfort that is.
Not a good deal at all.

The US at least has a immigration policy, which in theory allows for skilled hard working people independent of origin to get in.
As for the illegal US immigration, I always firmly believed that below the cover of utter hypocrisy that is part of the de facto scheme to get what is required to keep the US economy motor going.
Who else would accept those jobs in so many cases well performed by them at the prices offered? Our gardener in San Diego for instance, a great guy communicating in Spanish only.

All in all the US immigration policies are a lot better and more healthy for the country than the total hypocritical situation on Europe, where "democratic" and "humanitarian" criteria only determine who can enter the EU paradise of non immigrant countries...

Germany does not have an official immigration policy and they are still debating on the level that "Germany is no immigration country". All of this while the birth rate is down to 1.5 or less with nobody left to pay for the expensive welfare and retirement plans 10-15 years from now.
