And, of course, he was obligated to go to his boss, the head of the FBI, which apparently he did not do.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why someone in that capacity in our Government felt the only way he could handle this legally was go to to the media.......And he even thought he should be the head of the FBI....NOW that is a downright scary thought....

NO DANGED WONDER we have people who are leakers and spy's who try to undermine our Government....

Mind you, I'm not excusing Nixon and his underlings for breaking the law....but Felt broke the law as well....

So did these folks just pass by the legal system they had sworn to protect....
