re: Criticism with no alternative vision is worthless.

Jesus, you just copied and pasted his alternative vision. And in my opinion it was damn good.

Re: You are willing to say we aren't best on earth, but then can't name who is?

Dumbkopf, it is essentially every other OECD nation besides the U.S.

Tejek, this is why people say you are a whiner,

Mindmeld, this is why people say you don't have the intellectual firepower to post, even on a tertiary forum like this one, and avoid embarrassment.

A country whose resources are better distributed among its population and not disproportionately held by the rich; where resources are used primarily to improve a country's infrastruce; a country where there is less emphasis on defense and more on raising the standard of living of all nations; a nation where there is less emphasis on extreme capitalism.

I noticed you were unable or unwilling to name a country that is better than the U.S. You are willing to say we aren't best on earth, but then can't name who is?

Why is that important to you? To be honest, I certainly don't think in terms of who is best in the world like its a beauty contest. I am simply pointing out what we are doing wrong. Its called providing constructive criticism.

However, if by pointing out a particular country impresses you, I will be glad to oblige.......then I would have to say the following in no partricular order: Canada, AU, Japan, the Scandinavian countries including Iceland, and possibly the Baltics.........however, they are still very much
in the developmental stages. I think these countries are closer to my model but are not there completely.

Tejek, this is why people say you are a whiner, but you aren't an advocate. Criticism with no alternative vision is worthless.

Now that is truly weird. I gave you an alternative vision [see above] but that wasn't good enough. You wanted the names of specific countries. Could you not visualize what I meant by my words?
