If there is fighting in Iraq, then the most obvious source of fighters has to be the Iraqis. It is as simple as that.


Since you are clearly have some comprehension problems (either that or trying to do a stealth row back from your previous position), let me repeat the situation as reported currently by all sides:

The insurgents are a mixture of Baathists supplying leadership and cash, jihadis, criminals and Sunni tribesmen. Of these groups, the Baathists, criminals, tribesmen and some of the jihadis are Iraqis. But an important subset of the jihadis, the splodeydopes, the suicide bombers, are almost all foreign recruits, mostly Saudis. This is the situation being reported by the US Army, the Iraq government, and all papers that I have seen. You want to say it's different, let's see your evidence.
