Isikoff broke the Monica Lewinsky case. He is well known as a super serious non-partisan reporter. I do not have a link but watched on one of the networks a discussion about the Newsweek case where the expert laughed at the rightwing for calling Isikoff a "liberal" and explained how he broke the Lewinsky story scandal. In fact he is equally tough on all administrations. As are all the major reporters. Drudge is a big phony fag. He is not a real reporter. he simply spreads rumors and unsubstantiated stories if they hurt Democrats, plus just plain made-up lies. He is the one who "broke" that odious libel about Kerry having sex with his intern. Not a shred of truth to any of it. But Drudge never retracted and the rightwing cheered his big sleazy lie. Typical. You guys have no moral right to criticize any reporter, ever. You deal in trash and lies. The smearvets are the crowning example. They got an award from the rightwing for being the biggest liars. Lying on the right is seen as a virtue.
