Actually politics have swung too far to the right ... and the "conservatives" are clearly responsible for the huge debt.

Just like the last time when the GOP ran the country into the ground, the country will swing back to the middle/left and elect some fiscally prudent politicians and quit the BS social issues (remember prohibition?).

The "revolution" you write of will be putting people first and corporations second. Think TR and FDR (a Republican and a Democrat).

In fact, FDR predicted the demise of the GOP in 1924 when he wrote:
"I remarked to a number of friends that I did not think the nation would elect a Democrat again until the Republicans had led us into a serious period of depression and unemployment", FDR, Dec 9, 1924

My party (the GOP) is self-destructing again. We have allowed the extremists to take over, and we have written our own obituary.
