Sorry if I confused you, you're absolutely correct, for the SP's I use it exactly how you just said... I was only pointing out an interesting phenomenon about the spiral, I find that the spiral fits forwards and backwards just as well, the spiral can be placed over price patterns in numerous ways, and each of the ways seems to fit the price patterns... I don't use it as a timing device going to previous highs and lows, but just that since price patterns fit the spiral no matter which way you place the spiral, that I find it interesting that the euro jumped over the spiral wall at such a specific time... it was merely an observation, sorry for any confusion...<g>
