Buffett's "losses" are on top of the huge gains he has already made.

In a bear-market, if you can go short at/near the top, you make huge gains. And if there is a rally, you lose money but it would be coming out of the gains you have already made, not from the principal.

Re: "You are so full of sh!t!"

No. What I stated is simply true.

"Buffett announced losing a more than a quarter billion on his short position last month."

'Last month'? So WHAT?

Since he began his currency diversification actions some TWO YEARS AGO he has piled up huge profits. Recent short-term counter-cyclical actions haven't even taken the icing off of his cake... and he remains positioned to profit from continued further dollar declines over the coming periods.

"Show me where he is up and why he would lie about it."

He didn't lie about anything. You simply jumped to conclusions that were not true.

As to the profits he's made: they are fully reported and many news pieces have covered them --- should take you about 30 seconds to find.
