I would expect a lot of Marines are heartbroken at the thought of being second guessed constantly as to whether a shooting is justified or not. Nothing like staring a maniac in the eye trying to decide what to do knowing that some jerk off in an air conditioned office might decide you weren't justified if you off the guy.

I wish Second Lt. Ilario Pantano had a public email address....I was very saddened to see that he is leaving as well.

Sometimes I think people think that war is just a tea party....The majority of our Military are doing a super job and don't get anywhere enough credit for it. If the media wrote a story about something positive that has happened in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and put it on the same page as whatever the latest bad story is, things would be different.
