it's fun to have the technology to do so too!
i often think that when i'm reading through
the field notes of naturalists of a century
or more ago.
they had to hand draw diagrams or collect
plants to press, or insects to pin in order
to illustrate their text.
while those field notes are wonderful in their own way,
it's sort of amazing how it is now possible
for a naturalist to record so much visual
information along with their written text.
