Do you really believe stirring up the current bad guys animosity has nothing to do with battlefields?

Heck, in this case it created a few bloody new ones, complete with body counts.

Aaaarrgghhh! That was not what Card said at all! How can you twist his words like this! Card has nothing against "stirring up the bad guys' animosity" if it will help us beat them. OBVIOUSLY invading Afghanistan and Iraq stirred up their animosity. What Card objects to is stirring up their animosity in a way that plays into their hands, helps sway moderate Muslims to their side, badmouths America, and on top of all that is based on a false story! And having done all that, they are indignant that anyone thinks they should even care about America's interests in the GWOT.
