Yep. Iraq is the issue but it is the issue regardless of whether insurgents are up or down this month.

- To disregard the Iraq Invasion itself, regardless of the outcome, is to sanctify unilateral action based upon lies. It says to the entire world that a country is a law unto itself as long as it has enough nukes and can lie well enough.

- Even if the sun comes up tomorrow on an Iraq totally at peace, what have we done? We've put an Islamist theocratic government (al Sistani rules after all) with close ties to Iran in power.

- We've fulfilled OBL's expectations of a western power occupying a muslim country and created a new generation of jihadists.

===== I heard that some of the suicide bombers could be people who went to get their cars repaired. They picked them up from the repair shop loaded with explosives and were then followed by insurgents with a remote control.

They were then blown up when they reached an acceptable destination.

Hmmm. Propaganda or the truth?
