Elroy - would this have anything to do with UnoCal, which started in the same area - on shore Ventura County ?

Couold this be designed to economicaly protect more drilling in Alaska ?

BTW, Condi Rice used to be on the board of Chevron..

i really do not know the details but to say xon is trying to buy Bush or any other gov democrat or rep. is nuts. xon got so much money, is really old school management they wouldn't even consider something that may end up badly.
