So you think what was going on in israel is the same thing as the vietnamese civil war/NV-SV war? And B52 bombing wasnt horrible? Ask a pilot as well as someone whose head those bombs dropped on. I do agree that Watergate weakened nixon and gave anti-war dems entree into congress. That was nixons fault. In a democracy with a free press, you do get bad things exposed. I understand that we wish this stuff would go away or unreported--but these are exactly the principles our soldier fight for. Quite a conundrum and not nearly as simple as you portray it. In deference to Bill, this will be my last post on Viet Nam.
