You don't get it. Asking Shiites to go after Sunnis is tantamount to asking for civil war. And 140K troops are too few. The results of sending so few are plainly visible. Virtually no part of Iraq (not even the Green Zone) is fully under control of the US. And of course, one has to always mention the 10 miled road from Baghdad to its airport... Shinseki said it loud and clear that we need close to 500,000 troops. He was absolutely right. The idiots who fired him are running the show now. It is stupid to expect anything other than continued deterioration.
