A pardon prevented Nixon from being charged criminally for crimes committed while in the White House. That pardon had nothing to do with the fact that Nixon was facing impeachment and no doubt would have been impeached (and convicted and removed from office) had he not resigned.

If you're going to insist on posting on this topic, you really should spend some time and educate yourself. Your lack of understanding is quite apparent.

Spehres, What makes you think that the pardoning of Nixon is deleting history? That event will be entered into the Congressional record until the government of the US crumbles into dust.

You really should study some history, other than the BS on google, to keep from putting your foot in your mouth.
