If by that you mean this is pretty small beer in comparison with Bush's other swindles, I would agree.

What do you see as the swindle here? Gale Norton acquiescing to a huge settlement with Chevron in a "takings" case in one of her infamous late Friday afternoon capitulations?

What she'll do, as the sneaky bitch has always done, is to try to keep this out of the media and settle quietly.

It's unfathomable to me for Elroy to believe that the Bush team is in connivance with Exxon on this one. Remember, it was Chevron that named a tanker after one of its favorite directors, the "SS Kindasleazy Rice".
