Since you were only 10 years old during the Watergate era, perhaps you should go to the Public Library and spend some quality time with the newspapers of the day, and see what exactly happened.

At least 2 of the people here who tried to tell you what happened and why, are lawyers. They do know what they are talking about. No matter what kind of spin you would like to put on it, many of us actually lived through the entire era, and KNOW what happened.

We are in agreement on one thing - that being Jimmy Carter and his presidency.

By the way, who was it who opened up relations with China?

Who was it who effectively concluded this country's involvement in Viet Nam?

Factually, I have a few errors, but the reality remains

Do you work for CBS?

Do you write Dan Rather's lines or do you borrow them?
