If, after fabricating 1 to 2 million Gore votes nationwide, they had managed even 1,000 more, Bush probably would have walked away. The American people have a history of being just plain lucky...

Florida was the closest state. They picked it because of that. This time around Kerry was prepared to fight Ohio. It was the closest state that could affect the outcome. I assume that Jeb will not run for President because he knows that Democrats will hate him for being Governor of Florida during their unsuccessful attempt to steal the election of 2000. Maybe he just doesn't want the scrutiny. The latest buzz is that Kerry will beat the Hillabitch for the 2008 nomination. They are both damaged goods, and should be relatively easy to defeat. (We hope.)
