Just drove into DC (took Ben to the Cato Institute for a summer seminar) and drove past Arlington Cemetary on the way back. And you know what? There are NO crosses on the graves! Has the ACLU struck? Those dastards!

No, all the graves have the same headstone, the traditional rectangle with a rounded top. As I drove by, I could see that each stone has writing (presumably the name) and a smallish engraved symbol, just a few inches tall, above the writing (presumably a cross, Star of David, etc.)
