Insider selling, first off I don’t really know what an automatic sale really is and there seems to be a lot of them in small chunks so I am at a little disadvantage. Insiders still own a ton of shares and over the last 6 months they sold only 0.4%. Maybe I’m wrong but this does not overly concern me.

As for the short ratio it doesn’t seem to be growing (I am curious as to what the new ratio will be when the numbers come out) and the consensus seems to be the company is fairly valued at current levels, also the new acquisitions make them a stronger company. So again I’m not overly concerned.

As for the new acquisitions. Imceda software expands Quest's product portfolio to include backup and recovery and security auditing solutions and enables Quest to offer one of the most comprehensive product sets for the growing SQL Server database market. And Vintela will deliver a pivotal component to Quest's long-term strategy to embrace and extend Microsoft Active Directory by enabling organizations with Unix, Linux, Mac and Java systems. "The Vintela acquisition is a cornerstone in Quest's overall strategy for Windows-centric platform integration and identity management," said Vinny Smith, Quest chairman and chief executive, in a statement. They did burn a lot of cash but they had it and they positioned themselves pretty well looking forward.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any short-term catalysts that I’m aware of but as for the long term I do believe management has a definite plan and it’s in motion and by the end of this year they should be in a much better position.

This is a different way of looking at things for me. I never really gave it that much thought. As for the TA that got me here in the first place, right now it’s not looking as good but if I still remember the Gann Fan (still above the 45 degree line) and Fibonacci retracement (the next support is at 12.71) I’m still holding but watching real close

[Insider Selling] I'm going to Rain on Insider Selling.

It's not a Major concern. It's actually not a big Deal at all. Just a Buying Opp in some cases.

Compare this Selling to the Chart.

finance.yahoo.com

If it Even Creates a buying opp at all.
