The idea of mono-theism was incorporated into Judism by the influences in Babylon.

The Chaldeans were not monotheists. I agree that there is a very strong Chaldean influence in Judaism, in fact some suspect that the Jewish God was an adaptation of a female Chaldean god.

I also agree that Zoroasterism's importance in history is not sufficiently appreciated. Unfortunately its origins are not well documented from original material (AFAIK).
