Christian Fundamentalists in this country don't espouse anything more aggressive than persuasion when it comes to their religion. It seems to me that they are all for passing laws to force others to adhere to their peculiar ideas, whether it be stem cells or erotica, and then using the full force of the state to enforce those laws. Have you heard of the Dominionists? I think you'll change your mind about how benign these crazed evangelical theocratists happen to be when you read and watch what is available as evidence against them here: theocracywatch.org These people are crazy and dangerous. They have zero respect for the U.S. Constitution and want to replace it with the Old Testament as the basis of law in America. That sounds pretty extreme to me.

Nope. I'm definitely not a defender of Falwell. I think he's a nutjob. However, I can't stand it when anyone spouts blatantly false propaganda. So I was merely pointing out that the Christian Fundamentalists in this country don't espouse anything more aggressive than persuasion when it comes to their religion. Unlike extremist Muslims who espouse suicide bombing. Falwell and his cohorts have never asked people to kill themselves in order to kill non Christians. That's a fact. Why is it the right doesn't want to be tarred by the same brush as Jerry Falwell but you are oh so willing to tar every Muslim with the same brush used on OBL?
