Maybe you missed the headlines. France and the Netherlands voted against the new EU constitution.

Sure, they might eventually approve of a "lite" version of the constitution, but that's a far cry from the "United States of Europe" that you were hoping for.


LOL. What I am hoping for? As a fervent and somewhat myth based bush supporter, its you that is hoping the EU does not happen. It makes little difference to me.

Its likely this constitution snafu will pass. Its very unlikely that Europe will go back to its old ways. The EU is pretty much a done deal.
