This may be better news for Apple than intel. What else is on the horizon that will stem the market share losses that Apple has been experiencing? It is also nice for intel - expecially if it helps Apple.

Donald, do you see a scenario in the future where the consumer purchasing patterns will influence Corporate purchase decisions on various 'products'? In the past, Corporate had been protected from fickle consumer purchasing behavior. Is that a valid assumption when there are now more consumer units (of various shapes & forms) and services than corporate units? And when users increasingly are driving their own individual purchase (or use) decisions?

The profit margins are in corporate - you are correct. But I wonder about the degree of influence or point of control that a true consumer player will have on Corporate. Am already seeing CIO's yield to some consumer behavior in a small way but one could extrapolate.
