UK & EU: Thatcher shouldn't have got the EU rebate anyway... if the Brits don't want to stay within the EU, they should leave... it's as simple as that. but the EU should stop ALL special deals... (BTW: Blair has to distract from his horrible record... he clearly underdelivered and didn't live up to his promises... the UK health care system is a nightmare, the standard of living in the UK is low compared to that in Scandinavia, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Germany... - the UK certainly is not a GOOD example of how to run the show! ... and it always pays off big time in the UK to pick on the EU...) cheers - Laurin - puzzled again...
