More than 50% of people aged 18 to 25 have smoked marijuana at least once. Should we put them all in jail?

Currently, we are talking about illegal drugs. The items you mentioned are all legal items.

Once it's made legal, it will be the same thing. And keep in mind that alcohol was once illegal, and is now legal.

Perhaps people want to continue believing that alcohol abuse doesn't affect the community they live in....and therefore will continue to ignore it.

I'm with you there 100%. Alcohol is an incredibly damaging drug for communities and the people who live in them. If I inadvertently cut somebody off in traffic, or accidently splash a drink on someone in a bar, I would MUCH rather it be a person on marijuana than a person on alcohol.

Go to your Middle and High Schools, and just check around....you will see that we in the US have a HUGE problem, and people are by in large, excusing that problem, because they would rather not believe there is a problem.

No argument. But in our schools, at least, alcohol is a bigger problem than illegal drugs. Of course, as far as middle and high school students are concerned, BOTH alcohol and marijuana are illegal drugs.
