So we just need to forget about interstate commerce regulations, the interstate highway system, SEC standards for public companies, immigration, federal labor and environmental standards, the federal court system for settling interstate commerce disputes, the FDA and oh yes...the beloved Congress that wrote the laws authorizing and funding all the above agencies to do their part in putting that apple on your table. Free markets, anyone? ;<) My overhyped point in this exchange is that few issues are really as simple as an ideological argument would have us believe. But it's much tidier to argue about it in the abstract.
