Now THAT is a surprise!

Ego? I think he honestly believes this stuff. He's wrong about much- -there are conspiracies and nicely sealed containerized classifed military and security agency projects are just great for hatching them- -but probably not everything. The Maine appears to have gone down because of an accidental explosion, not a Spanish plot. There was a gov't chomping at the bit for a war to steal some colonies, though, and newspapers more than willing to help.

Tonkin Gulf--the basis of Vietnam- -appears to have been faked and fabricated.

But incidents like these are rather rare. Most conspiracies or attempted conspiracies come unravelled quickly. Someone balks, says nothing, then calls their favorite reporter. And the house of cards falls.

Ray's stories of what happened on 911 have changed many times. So many that I and others have stopped blowing apart his theories because each time we do so, he modifies the theory to take account of our objections and pops up the modified theory like their had been no predecessors. In one instance he had claimed that the Pentagon had been hit by a cruise missile, not an aircraft. Study of photos taken at the Pentagon found the remains of the front landing gear of the type of plane that hit the Pentagon among the wreckage. At that point, he admitted the Pentagon had been hit by a plane, not a missile. A few weeks later he was back to selling his missile theory. The wife of the US Solicitor General was on that flight and is still missing. The question of what had happened to her and the other passengers on that flight was raised and never answered.

Change of medication? Yes.
