Stopped construction - intentional pull back before the housing bust, or stopped because of shortages of concrete, skilled work crews, or somthing else ?

Of course, slowdowns bacause of shotage just before the crash are pretty frequent.

One other possiblity is Lennar may have pulled back in Florida because of the number of Hurricanes predicted this seasons. Leanner has heavy Florida exposure.

Gene Epsteins column in Barron's rips the payroll number pretty good - unemployment number says 700,000 jobs added, magic happens and this becomes 78,000 jobs.....

Are you seeing help wanted ads in the windows of local stores ?
