Maybe the Dems could get Rove himself. He claims he's retiring after Dumbya. Bait him with stuff like, "Sure, you could win when the right is on the ascendency, but what if you had to get a LEFT - winger elected!?" and "ANYBODY can look like a genius investor in a BULL MARKET!"
