But i would argue that a sweep by one Party would mean that the PARTY has a 'mandate'... while a sweep by a candidate means the CANDIDATE has a 'mandate'. Not always the same thing. "BTW I am still trying to figure out if you're a libertarian or a democrat." Never been a Democrat or Republican in my life. Always either registered as a Libertarian or an 'independent'. "You say you're libertarian, but the ones I work with tend to hate both parties." You can count me in that camp. "I can't remember ever seeing you bash a socialist or their philosophy/ideas...Just curious." Well, GEE... just how many Socialist Party members hold power in Washington? Not much point in wasting time talking about unimportant people who can't influence developments. (You don't see me talking about 'one-eyed elk ranchers' much either....)
