I personally have several much older relatives still alive in their 70's and older sitting on a ton of free and clear property in bubble markets. A very different mindset from way too many in the boomer and younger set

I believe that a much smaller percentage of their kids will inherit homes (free and clear) as these same people are burning through the equity>

My daughter will and it will have a clause put on title no private liens of record will be able to be recorded. I work in the business and have seen too many kids get the home f&c and then borrow the heck against the equity.
