No, that's the hard way....hot sun, coyotes, etc. The short guys will get questioned.

The Basque region shares a border with France - pick up a few French words, learn to pronounce them the Quebecois way...
Learn the Key Phrase "We're from Canada, EH ?"

Replace the Jai-Lai equipment with Hockey sticks in the car trunk. Drive across the Canadian border in a rented car, tell customs guy you are going to Florida to think a about buying real estate. Important : About is pronounced Aboooot.

You'll get asked some standard questions -

"Do you have any fruit of live plants ?"
"Do you have any Marijuana ?"
"Is it good stuff ?"
"How much will you sell it for ?"
"On a $20 resturant bill, how much should the tip be ?"

Just give them the answers they want....

By the way, the last is a trick question - Canadians don't usually tip well...

The ETA should be able to get phony Canadian ID from the French intelligenece officers they have been working with for 20 + years. The French evidently see having contact and occasionaly funding the ETA to be some kind of insurance against Spain turning hostile ...or some other reason.
